In the Spring 2025 issue of Midwest Design magazine‘s article “Prairie Blossoms” (page 28-9) on our Saint Paul Prairie Style project, David Heide and Martin Crull discuss the pains and satisfactions of completely restoring a 1920s prairie school home, and the joys of living with the results.

It’s a fine example of one of David Heide Design’s specialties:  restoring historic homes with the period features and charm intact, and yet leaving room for modern families to live life to the fullest with all the modern conveniences. 

David Heide and Martin Crull are not only experts in the design and renovation of homes, they also have personal experience with the process.  They have an understanding of the work and joys our clients experience on their own home remodeling journeys.
