Though it captured some of the most compelling views of the Stone Arch Bridge, this Minneapolis condominium wore a nondescript Condo Maple interior. This project reimagined those spaces and beautifully captured the Golden Age of Travel, drawing on Streamline Moderne and Art Deco for inspiration. Along with embodying the owner’s tastes, the remodel improved functionality, including hidden storage and new sightlines to the Mississippi River. The new design also affords a more appropriate setting to prominently display extensive, museum-quality early 20th Century Decorative Arts collections. The result? An Old World home with all the conveniences of modern condo living.
